Под руководством и при личном участии профессора Баиндурашвили: внедрены новейшие методики диагностики и лечения заболеваний опорно-двигательного аппарата у детей, разработаны новые оперативные технологии, признанные и с успехом применяемые в России и за рубежом для лечения ортопедической патологии у детей раннего возраста, предложены пути совершенствования профилактики детского травматизма, организован Городской детский ожоговый центр. При участии профессора Баиндурашвили на базе института созданы Федеральный центр повреждений позвоночника и спинного мозга у детей, Центр лечения детей с последствиями спинномозговой грыжи.

Under the guidance and with the personal participation of Professor Baindurashvili: the latest methods of diagnosing and treating diseases of the musculoskeletal system in children have been introduced, new operational technologies have been developed that are recognized and successfully used in Russia and abroad to treat orthopedic pathology in young children, new approaches for prevention of child injuries were proposed, the City Children’s Burn Center was organized. With the participation of Professor Baindurashvili, the Federal Center for Spinal and Spinal Cord Injuries in Children and the Spina Bifida Center were established at the Institute.
